Samsung has already sent invitations to the media and influencers in anticipation of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, while also promoting the event across social media platforms.
Meanwhile Samsung has open reservations ahead of the event, allowing customers to sign up for the new phone. This is not a pre-order, and no deposit or commitment is demanded for the reservation. In addition to the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, several other announcements are expected, including the Bixby AI assistant, Galaxy Ring and Samsung XR Smart Glasses.
As usual, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is expected to launch in three variants: the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. However, this time it is believed that a fourth variant, the Galaxy S25 Slim, is also on the way.
Samsung Galaxy S25
The Galaxy S25 will feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1080 × 2340, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It will be equipped with 12GB of RAM and offered in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The Galaxy S25 runs on Android 15, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On the rear, the phone features a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera, while a 12MP camera is on front for selfies.
The Galaxy S25 offers 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, supported by a 4,000 mAh battery.
Other key features of the phone include dual SIM support with eSIM capability. However it doesn’t support a microSD card, the audio jack is absent and will feature an under display-fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus
This device will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with resolution of 1440 × 3120, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2
Pre-installed with Android 15, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, equipped with 12GB of RAM and will be available in two internal storage options 256GB and 512GB.
The device will feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, along with a 10MP telephoto and a 12MP ultra wide camera. On the front, there will be a 12MP camera for selfies.
The device will be equipped with a 4,900 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Other key features includes dual SIM support with eSIM capability, with no option for external storage, and the device lacks an audio jack. Additionally, it will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
This will be the top model in Galaxy S25 series, The device will feature a 6.8-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1140 × 3120 protected by Corning Gorilla Armor.
The device will come preloaded with Andriod 15, it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with memory and storage options including 12GB of RAM and 256GB Storage, 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage, and 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage.
The device will feature a quad-camera setup, including a massive 200MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra wide lens. For selfies, it will include a 12MP front-facing camera.
The device will be packed with a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging and 25W wireless charging.
Other key features of the device include a dual SIM support with eSIM capability, no option for expandable memory, no audio jack, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim
The device will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels.
The phone will come with Android 15, powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will be available in three variants: 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage.
The device features a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto lens and 50MP ultrawide lens. additionally a 10MP camera is mounted on the front for selfies.
Battery and charging details are yet to be confirmed. Other key features include support for eSIM, no external storage option, no headphone jack and under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
